What each symbol pays
Line prizes are multiples of your line bet, which is your total bet divided by the number of lines you play. With all 10 lines in play, Rich Wilde's 5,000× on a line comes to 500 times your total bet.

Lines pay from the leftmost reel, and only the highest prize on each line is paid. Notice that the four picture symbols pay for just two in a row, and the letters need three.
The Book
The Book does two jobs. It's the Wild, the symbol that stands in for any other to finish a line, and it's the Scatter, which pays wherever it lands, not only along a line. Scatter prizes are multiples of your total bet and are added to anything the lines pay.

Free spins and the expanding symbol
Land three or more Books and you get 10 free spins. Before the first spin, the game picks one ordinary symbol at random to be the expanding symbol for the whole round.
Here's why it matters. Whenever that symbol lands on enough reels to pay, it grows to fill each of those reels from top to bottom, and then it pays on every line you're playing. It doesn't need to sit on neighbouring reels, either: two Rich Wildes on reels one and five still pay. That's the whole game, really. Draw Rich Wilde or Osiris and the round can change completely; draw a 10 and it tends to be quieter.
