What each symbol pays
Pragmatic Play's help screen shows each prize as an amount at your current bet, so the figures move when you change your stake. The proportions don't. Taking three letters on a line as 1:

So five floats pay 400 times what three letters do, and 20 times what five letters do. The float is also the only symbol that pays for two in a row. Lines pay from the leftmost reel on neighbouring reels, and only the highest prize on each line is paid.
The fish and their values
The fish are the symbol to watch. On every spin, each one picks up a random value of 2×, 5×, 10×, 15×, 20×, 25×, 50× or 2,000× your total bet, shown on the fish itself. In the base game that value does nothing, and the fish just pay as an ordinary symbol. It only counts in the free spins.
Free spins, and the fisherman
The free spins start with the scatter, the leaping bass in an orange circle. Unlike the other symbols it doesn't need to line up: three anywhere on the reels start 10 free spins, four start 15 and five start 20.
In the round, the fisherman appears. He's the Wild, standing in for every symbol except the scatter, and each time he lands he collects the value of every fish on the screen. Once in a while, when he lands alone with no fish around him, fish are dropped onto the reels at random so he has something to reel in.
Every fisherman you land is counted until the round ends, and every fourth one brings 10 more free spins with a multiplier on the fish he collects: 2× for the first retrigger, 3× for the second and 10× for the third. The new spins are played after the ones you already have, and the multiplier only applies to them. After the third retrigger, the round can't be extended any further.
If a round reaches 2,100 times your bet, it ends there and pays out, and any spins still to come are lost.
